These pages are scene two of my earlier blog The Lavender hill mob, it became full so I had to move on to a new site. This is the old site. The Lavender hill mob, scene 1.
I have been photographing for sixty years or so.
This is the first photo I ever took, my first school. You might well ask how I managed to find the first photo I ever took after sixty years, well my Father was a very methodical person and collected this sort of thing and put it in an album. Taken with a Kodak Brownie 127.
I mostly photograph in digital with a Canon G16, Iphone6 or a Nikon D 7200 but like to use film now and again with a Leica M6,
I sort of collect film cameras and have a Pentax 1000, an Olympus OM10, a Nikon FT, a Hasselblad 500CM and a Mamiya CF220, an Olympus XA and an XA2. I suppose it is less a collection thing but more that I like the old cameras, I feel they have more ‘personality’ in as much as a camera can. Unlike a digital camera that normally gets worn out after three or four years, these go on and on so I never get rid of them, they look nice too.
I like taking pictures of people.
Thanks for looking.
